About PricePod
PricePod is an automated price-per-unit comparison tool for Australian shoppers, built and run by Andrew Wade.
Most price comparison sites show you the sticker price. The problem is that a 64-pack and a 200-pack are impossible to compare honestly using sticker prices alone. PricePod solves this by calculating the normalised cost per unit — price per nappy, price per capsule, price per gigabyte — across multiple retailers, updated daily.
The insight is simple: a $45 box of 108 nappies (41.7¢ each) is a better deal than a $30 box of 60 nappies (50.0¢ each) — but most parents never do that maths at 2am. We do it for them.
The Baby Pod
The first Pod focuses on baby consumables — nappies, wipes, and formula — the products that quietly add up to $3,000 or more from birth to toilet training. Australian parents deserve a tool that makes this spending transparent and easy to optimise.
We currently track prices across Amazon AU, Woolworths, and Baby Bunting. When a price drops, subscribers get a free email alert with a direct link to buy.

PricePod is an independent Australian project. It is not affiliated with any retailer, brand, or product manufacturer. We earn a small affiliate commission when users click through and purchase — this is how we keep the service free. It never influences which products we show or how we rank them. Products are always sorted by price per unit, lowest first.
