Which Nappy Brand Is Cheapest Per Nappy in Australia?
We checked live prices across Amazon AU, Woolworths and Baby Bunting for every size we track. The pack price tells you almost nothing — price per nappy tells you everything.
Pack prices are designed to be hard to compare: different retailers sell different counts, and "value packs" often aren't. To find the actual cheapest option, you have to divide every price by its nappy count — which is the entire premise of PricePod. The standout finding: home brand wins by a wide margin
Woolworths' own "Little One's" range is consistently the cheapest price-per-nappy option we track — often by 15–25¢ per nappy compared to branded packs in the same size. On Size 1 alone, Little One's runs 17.8¢ per nappy against 33–37¢ per nappy for equivalent Huggies packs on Amazon AU — less than half the price for what is functionally the same job.

Where brand-name packs are actually competitive
Amazon AU's larger multi-packs narrow the gap, particularly when a brand runs a promotion. BabyLove's 120-count Size 3 pack on Amazon AU came in at 34.7¢ per nappy — cheaper than the equivalent 88-count Tooshies pack at 45.4¢, despite both being "premium" brands at similar shelf prices. Bigger isn't always cheaper per unit, but within the same brand, the largest pack size usually is.
Baby Bunting's pricing quirk: their BabyLove "Jumbo Bag" range is priced flat at $29 regardless of pack size — 84 count down to 54 count. That means price-per-nappy gets steadily worse as babies size up (34.5¢ at Size 1 versus 53.7¢ at Size 5), even though the sticker price never changes. It's the clearest example of why the pack price alone tells you nothing.
